Ho Ho Ho Here they come...

Ornaments arrived!

 

what a pleasant surprize! In todays mail, my ornaments from the swap over at Cindys!!! Cindy is so generous, and wrapped them with such care too! Tha packages were even decorated! This very special angel came bearing the gift of friendship, with such a sweet note from Cindy! I love this card, isn't she just sweet?

 The three ornaments are so different, and each just delightful! The first, is this oh so cute primative reindeer made by Cyndy and Mary over at CRAFTYSTITCHERS! He's so cute, look at his tiny antlers! The second was this very lovely Victorian shoe, so delicate, and pretty. It is hard to see in the pictures, but it has a beautiful scroll design in the foil, as well as intriquite hand painting, and the pastel pink tassle tops it off. It was created by Deborah at Debs Vintage Soul

A third ornament  will take a special place on my tree this year. Not many know, but I lost a son to a tragic accident in 1993, he was eight years old. It has been since then, and still now a tradition to place at least one angel on our tree each year for Howard Lee. This beautiful little wire angel will be among those! It was created by Cindy herself! it's all girls!

This week I concentrated my efforts on the girls..well mostly, I did create a Male Nude Fairy, I will show in another post. This first little fairy is so tiny, and just look at her beautiful orange hair! I have such great friends, Madame Samm graciously sent me a variety of goodies which I received last week. Among those goodies were some of the dress materials you will see here, as well as wool in varios colors! Thank you so much Samm! visit Samm here   and here!

My girls are dressed so pretty thanks to Samm, and their wings will look great, thanks to Angela!

I have so many really great friends I have met here through the blog, and through my collectors on ebay, I am so lucky to have you all in my life. Patricia, Jacqueline, Anita, Rose, Penny, Kristy, Cindy, Jess, Ree, Samm, Angela, JoAnna,  Abi,, Jo, Ascension, Ewa, Contar, Karin, Amy, Sandy, Patrizia, Kai Jodi, Debbie, SueAnne,..oh my I know I am forgetting so many, you see, they are countless!! Daily, you bring me joy, and inspiration, and then there are the goodies, I am so grateful for the gifts I receive, both material gifts, and spiritual gifts!!  I have one other very dear friend I want to mention, she does not have a blog...YET< I am working on her..haha, but she is so dear to me, we met through ebay, and are now great friends, we talk several times a week, and she has sent me BOATLOADS of things she hopes I can use in creating my art dolls. KATHLEEN, my dear friend, thank you so much for everything you do for me always. I wish we would have met long ago, but you know I could live three lifetimes, and never use everything you have sent me! haha I'm trying though...Love you all so much, and I apologize if your name was left out, I'm sure I will think of you as soon as I post this..(smiles)

Pictured from top to bottom; Oleta, the FaeWee elder who loves to cook, and has baked a sweet potato pie for the FaeWee children! Then please meetNolan, he is Niles' little brother, who loves to climb on the books in the study. Next up we have Jules, she is the big sister to Frankie, they both love playing in the kitchen, and can usually be found in the cream and sugar!  Next we have little o"Livee  she is a smart little FaeWee girl, who spend nearly every free minute either reading, or listening to the elder FaeWee stories with her only friend, Dearly. Georgie A Minstrel Fairy Boy

Please welcome Georgie, a sweet little traveling minstrel fairy boy. My inspiration for this little boy came from an illustration created by a dear friend and mentor Patricia Cabrera.See Patricias amazing miniatures here! She had posted an illustration of a little "fiddler boy" I thought was just darling, and so the dream of a little minstrel began. Georgie is quite a bit larger than my usual wee ones, the FaeWees, at 6 inches with his hat!  I sculpted the tiny mandolin, and drinking gourd, as well as the tiny mushrooms! Thank you all for taking time out of your busy lives to come and visit me, I appreciate each and every one of you. Georgie is for sale now on ebay, where you can see many more pictures of him.
