Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great week so far! It is very cold, and icy here, warming up later in the week, so I am looking forward to that! Last week, it was unseasonably warm, leading me to be inspired by the onset of spring flowers! I created these pretty bouquets, and baskets of English roses from paper, wire, and some tiny embellishments. I sat at the kitchen table, ( where there is great overhead lighting) and made these for four days! I really love the outcome. There's something about a bouquet of flowers that makes ones heart sing..even in miniature, and in a dollhouse! (Hope the dollies love them too) These are all available, and reasonably priced on my ebay now. There are ten one of a kind items to choose from! Thank you for taking the time to stop in and visit. I appreciate you! xoxox Christel

Purpose
Hello friends, this post is not my normal post. There isn't a doll to show, but there is an extraordinarily, ordinary beautiful soul. I am posting today to ask for your prayers for Joey Martin Feek. She is terminally ill with stage 4 cancer. I do not know this woman. Everything I have learned about her was, and is, from the internet, and radio. One thing I am certain of, is that this is a soul worth praying for.
Joey is such an inspiration to me. She is a wife, and mother, a daughter, a friend, a beautiful soul.
She is a country singing artist, along with her husband, Rory. She is a hard working, God fearing, devoted Christian. She is a soul worth praying for.
Her husband, Rory has a blog thislifeilive.com It is the most beautiful story of love, life, and faith I have ever read. I hope you will take some time, and read Joey, and Rorys story. I also hope that no matter what religion you are, or if you are not, you will say a prayer, or have a positive thought, for Joey, and Rory, and little Indy, Hopie, and Heidi.

added note, sadly, Joey lost her battle on March 4th, a Friday afternoon, a pretty day, with sunshine. I'd like to think it was her smiling. She will be going home to Tennessee, with Rory and her girls.

Kira The Dark Crystal
Hello friends, Just wanted to show you my version of Kira, a commissioned piece I just completed. She is an 8 inch tall one of a kind art doll. I created her body in soft sculpture over wire, so that she is pose-able. Hope you are all doing great! xoxox Christel

I NEED HELP PLEASE :)
My daughter and I are trying to find out if this screen is an actual antique? or just a mass produced piece, made to look old. It appears to be European, maybe Colonial to me... but I just don't know. It does seem to be old, but how old?, and from where? It also has some vague coloring in places, I don't know if someone tried to water color it, or if it is supposed to be this way... Any help would be greatly appreciated! please leave a message

Ornament Exchange at Madame Samms
This year I decided to be a bit more social, and join in the festivities at Madame Samms http://www.sewwequilt.com/ I am so glad that I did, and that I was fortunate enough to have sweet Pauline from
http://quiltnqueen.blogspot.com/ as my ornament swap partner! This gorgeous hand painted Santa was one she sent! The second photo is of the beautiful angel she sent as well.. I told her I did not actually "collect" anything, but that I added an angel to my tree each year in memory of my son Howard Lee.
The last two photos are of the ornament I sent to Pauline. This was a fun swap, and I will be happy to join in again next year! Happy Holidays everyone, and Merry Christmas

Fallen Angel Male
Hello friends. This is my latest ebay offering, a Fallen Angel, I have entered in this months International Art Doll show. I have titled this piece,
FALL FROM GRACE (2)
He is equivalent to an 8 inch tall doll. and is anatomically correct. His wings were made from painted, and multi layered coffee filters, coated with liquid Sculpey clay. They are very durable after baking! Although somewhat difficult to photograph, he has tears streaming down his face. I hope I portrayed the anguish within him. For more photos, please visit his eBay auction. Thank you, Christel
