This is Calla, a tiny tea cup fairy. She is a 7" inch sculpture, but sits at just 4 inches. She is listed on my ebay now. Hope everyone is having a great week. xoxox Christel
SOLD
Thank you Ewa, she is selling, and I am happy! :) I am working on another tea cup Fairy now. I am enjoying working on pretty dolls agin. I love making miniatures, but sometimes it becomes routine, and mundane, and I think it shows in the dollies. I am challenging myself more by switching modes, and calling on my artistic muse to help me with inspiration! Thanks so much for your visit, and your comments, I appreciate them more than you know. Have a lovely day! XOXO Christel
Christel, Thank you so dearly for visiting and don't you think you could do this. I thought of you right away with how you create. And you would not have to be that careful in being just so with perfection, the whole charm of the is the less then what they are, you can soooo do this and I hope when you do you share with all of us your pottery.
As for Calla, again another breathtaking piece, I am not sure how you keep creating with one beautiful piece after e another, she is going to not last long. Did I tell you, or did you notice on my older posting we, my daughter and I got an Italian greyhound puppy, now 6 months old we named her Pia I love her name in fact I was thinking if you want you can use our dogs name for one of your up and coming pieces, Pia is a cute fairy name :) My daughter had names for her fairies from fairy movies , Hannah would be inspired and make up names for her fairy dolls. I often think a name is just as important as the piece itself. A great name inspires the piece and can also help sell it I am sure you know and agree.
I think you and your studio should be featured in Where Women Create magazine with all your business for everyone to share in your creative beauty. You need to sooo do a post on all your set up and work space and you little wee ones hanging around.
Thank you Christel, for joking my heart with a visit.
Oh Christel, SHE IS BEAUTIFUL! I love all of your work, but Calla has such a finesse to her features, and I have to say she is my absolute favorite of yours! The colors of her wings and just the way you made her hair and her profile, she is excellent!
Thank you, Christel for stopping by! Married 35 years? We are going on 32 in March. Crazy, isn't it?
Dear Christel, I see I have missed a lot lately. She is a dream! I am still amazed at the details in such a small sculpture... Exquisite! Love and blessings dear friend, thank you so much for visiting, your prayers and thinking of me.. Love, Penny
