Hello again, This is baby Astrid, as you can see, she is quite tiny! I am finally....getting better at making tiny eyes. Astrids eyes are not computer generated, they are hand painted, only 1.5 mm! I coated them with fimo baking gel, which gives even the tiniest eyes, a clear lens, and makes them look very realistic! Little Astrid measures just two inches long! I made her little dress and bonnet from a small piece of vintage style lace in cream and pink. Her little diaper was made from a 3/4 inch triangel of pink cotton! Hope you are all having a great week! xoxox Christel

Astrid is for sale on my ebay now!

Dollhouse Miniature Girl 1:12 scale

I have to say, I think this little girl is my best work to date for dollhouse miniatures! Her eyes are very small. glass head pins that I hand painted.  I made her arms pose-able at the shoulders, and elbows for more versatility. I am so happy with how pretty she is, and her hair is so soft! She is just 4 inches tall.  She is on ebay now if you would like to view her auction. Have a great weekend everyone! xoxo Christel

Room Boxes Nursery, and Childs Room!

Hello, as promised, I wanted to show you all the room boxes I made..First is the childs room, to photograph my older children/ dollhouse miniatures in, it is complete, My thanks to Angela, my sweet friend who sent me this hangtag..it works perfectly for a wall hanging,, the miniature books work nicely as a small bedside table, and the owl earrings make great wall decor..don't you think? The wall plaque is part of an old brooch. The two "miniature matching pictures on the left side wall, are earrings too! The nursery still needs a few final touches, pictures and decor on the walls mainly, but both rooms are finished for the most part. I used coasters for the rugs in the nursery, and on top of the dresser, are miniature  christmas ornaments for a tiny tiny tree, I just took the gold hangers off of them, and think they look great as  table top figurines! I talked to my sister, LeeAnn this morning, and told her I would show the rooms, so she could see what I did, so even though the nursery isn't completely finished, I wanted to show it. Love you Lee!  xoxo Christel
