Nostalgic ~ Scarecrow ~

Hello Friends! I am excited to show you my version of the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz! He is fully pose-able. I have him listed on eBay now.  I created him using a three wire armature wrapped in fiberfill, and then cloth tape. His head, hands and feet were sculpted, and painted with Genesis Heat Set Paints. I created his eyes too. I am very happy with his outcome, and his pose ability! He makes me smile, and feel nostalgic, I hope he brings you a smile too! Thanks so much for coming to visit. XOXOX Christel SOLD

Dearest Christel,
He is absolutely delightful! What beautiful workmanship... Your fingers are magic... Amazing details.
Thank you so much for visiting and leaving such a kind note for Violet.. So sorry it has taken me so long to get here.. My poodle Jasper had surgery last week (doing ok now) and I was off the computer... I know I have missed much.
Wishing you the best on his auction. I am sure he will be snatched up quick!
Love and blessings dear friend

Christel my dear....oh how your comment rang so true with me. I too grew up with practically nothing (in comparison to other kids) and I lived and played with my imagination. I also didn't have siblings so I really had to pretend! But God is good and teaches us that HIS world is the best toy shop, if you will, to observe and report and create with. Thank you dear Nowhere friend for your love! Be well, Anita

My dear Christel,

I don't deserve your attention as I have been so slow in responding to you. Oh Christel , was ((((so))) good to hear from you and to come here and see some of your lovely work. You know how much I love your little children and your post before shows me exactly why, grin
But I think your scarecrow will have a hard time to scare the birds... They may all fall into his arms ....hehehe

Lovey Christel !!
Thank you my dear for your visit and such nice and meaningful comments. I read them more than once, that's for sure !*grin*
Love to you ...
