Miniature Barn Owl #2 by Manna

No, you are not seeing double..ha ha This is the second piece Manna has sculpted, and it is just as terrific as the first!    BUT...she did this one less than half the size of the first! This beautiful Owl is only  a little over three inches tall. I just love it, I'm sure you will too. I have listed this piece on my ebay for her, and she is asking a very modest starting price for such a detailed and tiny piece! Wish her luck! Thanks so much for your encouragement ladies..and gents) We appreciate it so much..you all remember what it's like to be a (newbie) right?  I do, and truly appreciate the love shown her way! I am so thrilled with her work, and excited for her. Have a great day everyone. xoxo Christel

Tinkerbell Miniature 1:12 scale

Hello again everyone, I am really excited about this tiny version of Tinkerbell! As you can see by the last photo here, she is quite small, but I am very happy with her final outcome! Her eyes are sculpted, and hand painted..wwhheeww quite a feat with these tiny tiny eyes! Please take a minute if you have not seen my last post, to look at my daughter in law, Amandas, very first sculpture..you won't regret it!

Tinkerbell is listed on my ebay now..many more photos there. XOXO Christel

Birds of a feather...

I am so proud of my itty bitty daughter in law..Amanda! .I say itty bitty because shes a tiny little thing..a big wind would take her away!...but she's BIG in the talent department!! Look what she made! This beautiful, realistic barn owl! He is aprox 7 inches tall, perched on a real branch out of our walnut tree. She hand sculpted him over a foil armature, and did his feathers one by one..adding them in layers. She used regular white sculpey..which I find VERY diffucult to make anything out of..I am so impressed with her! I didn't help her at all..nadda, nothing!, and..she has never sculpted or created with clay before. I gave her a set of 8 mm eyes..and she made this! Painted with acrylics, and sealed..it was a gift for my daughter Jamie Lee, who loves owls..Jamie was so excited, and thrilled to have such a beautiful owl.  I think we have some competition girls! I am going to be showing more of Amandas work, as well as listing a few things for her on my ebay..wish her luck! xoxo Christel

~~Orii ~~

For those of you who don't know who Jay Manuel is, I have included his photo..he's really a pretty man!  (below)

My Newest Male sculpture, a crystal gem collector I have named Orri. I think he looks a little like Jay Manuel of Americas Next Top Model..lol maybe it's the white hair, or arched eye brows..
