I NEED HELP PLEASE :)

My daughter and I are trying to find out if this screen is an actual antique? or just a mass produced piece, made to look old. It appears to be European, maybe  Colonial to me... but I just don't know. It does seem to be old, but how old?, and from where? It also has some vague coloring in places, I don't know if someone tried to water color it, or if it is supposed to be this way... Any help would be greatly appreciated! please leave a message

Hello, Christel
The screen is beautiful! You might be able to find images of Victorian screens online on Yahoo. This is how I find curious things at times. If you type in 'Victorian screen images' or 'Victorian privacy screen images' you may find some photos. Click on the photos which interest you, and sometimes there are blogs, or sites with a link to the photos which might provide more information on those sites. So, I click on the listed site which goes along with the photo.

Thank you for sharing your lovely post about you and your daughter also being Empaths. Yes, I was always the 'sensitive' one 'seeing things' too. Or, knowing if someone was a nice person, or a not so nice person. I am also a Christian, so I have the added 'still small voice' of the Spirit inside me too. I have become a strong individual as a result of doing lots of research on the subject of how other people abuse others, and how to cope with it. Theirs (the abusers) is the greater loss. But, we all need to know who we are and to help others, and that is where I am at in my life right now. I cannot hide these traits, I feel I need to use them to benefit others.
lots of love and blessings to you!
