Depression Era Poignant doll sculpture

My latest work is a bit different. I have added to my home grown series of country children,  but this time I took us back before many of our times. This doll is a 5' piece, depicting a young girl selling turnips by the road side during the depression. Hope you like her. She is listed on my ebay now. xoxox Christel

Dear Christel,
She is a wonderful addition to your country children collection.. Her expression tells a story of it's own.. It just touches my heart... I think a limited edition of this era would be great. Wishing you the best on your auction.
I know she will find a home quickly.. Who would not want to take this little one off the corner and give her a home.
Beautiful work, my dear friend
blessings,
Penny

Wow. This is a perfect image of what one would think, of people, during the depression.
